Amplify is a new theme available for Tumblr, built especially for bands and musicians in mind as it can integrate with the following third party applications:
- HTML5 Music player of songs from your Soundcloud account
- Bandcamp player for any album of your choice
- Link to your album on the iTunes store
- Show upcoming events via Songkick
- Connect with Facebook and Twitter
- Display photos from Flickr
- Display Merchandise items from your Big Cartel shop
- Use custom fonts from Typekit
As well as all those awesome features, Amplify Theme also includes over 80+ customization options so that your Tumblr website can be styled to suit your needs.

The theme is built using the jQuery Isotope plugin, which allows for a fantastic grid layout that responds to the browser size. It also means you can filter your posts by type and tag.
As well as that, the theme supports many appearance options meaning you can make it look like pretty much whatever you want! Permalink posts also support large vimeo, youtube embeds and large photos.

Boston Polaroid is a Tumblr theme inspired by the Boston Big Picture. Images are displayed big and are resized to fit to the size of your screen.
The Boston Polaroid theme has the following features:
- Photo post images are resized to fit your viewport, with a maximum width of 1280 pixels
- Photo post images will also resize if you change your browser size after the page has loaded
- To prevent long loading times for multiple images on one page (e.g. the blog index), Boston Polaroid uses LazyLoad to prevent images from being loaded until they are in the viewport
- You can use ‘j’ and ‘k’ on the keyboard to navigate up and down between posts. If you reach the end you will be transported back to the top.
- Permalink photo pages will automatically scroll to the viewing area that will show the whole image after loading
- You can change the header colour, description colour, header background, header bottom border, link colour, body colour and heading colour from the appearance panel
- Boston Polaroid supports Disqus comments, you just need to enter your shortname into the appearance panel

Whilst it looks simple in design, MMMMinimal is also packed with heaps of awesome features:
- large, hi-res photos that will resize to fit inside the browser window
- vimeo and youtube embeds will also display at a large size
- change the background color, title color, hyperlink color, text color and much more
- supports pages
- has j/k navigation
- you can show links to your social network sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr & Vimeo
